Thomas W. Lang, MBA, is the practice leader of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and CFO outsourcing practices. Tom’s experience includes Big 4 public accounting along with public and private companies. In addition Tom has completed over 15 successful mergers including the $100MM sale of a privately held company. Besides the above mentioned industries, Tom’s industry experience includes financial services, manufacturing, service and mortgage/real estate services.
Prior to co-founding Thomas Kellie & Co., Tom served as Chief Financial Officer for a $50MM firm focusing in real estate mortgages, Controller of a $800MM national privately held organization in the service industry, Assistant Regional Controller for a $10B global service provider and interim Controller for a $100MM manufacturer in the steel industry. Prior to his corporate career, he was with Ernst and Young, LLP where he served both internal and external clients in the role of Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Tom holds a BS in Accounting from The University of Akron, and an MBA in Systems Management from Baldwin Wallace University where he graduated Cum Laude.
Kellie Krych, CPA, MBA is the practice leader for the firm’s outsourced accounting and software implementation practices. Kellie has over 20 years of diverse corporate accounting experience in both public and privately held organizations. Kellie began her career in public accounting working in the field of federal taxation and then migrating to assurance for a local CPA firm. While at the firm she focused on small to medium sized businesses relating to both the service and manufacturing fields. Kellie has Big 4 public accounting experience with the firms of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young where her focus was providing complex tax outsourcing services and software upgrades related to federal, international and state and local taxes (SALT) to global 50 international manufacturers and Fortune 500 companies.
Kellie has also worked in private industry where she was Vice President/ Controller of a national organization where revenue exceeded $40MM. While Vice President / Controller she was responsible for all aspects of accounting and reporting and led several successful software implementations related to corporate accounting on a national level.
Kellie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Ohio and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). Kellie obtained a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
